RTX ON Vulture 6m and HF

Queste sono le prime volte che scopriamo il Vulture come zona possibile da attivare per effettuare dei collegamenti DX abbastanza buoni.

Buoni anzichè ottimi poichè nei pressi (a pochi metri!!) ci sono tutti i possibili ed immaginabili ripetitori, a partire dai militari (reggimento trasmissioni), alla telefonia, alle radio pubbliche, private, dalla televisione nazionale a quella locale, MINISTERIALI, ecc, compreso l'R1.

Con tutta questa RF che ci circola nelle vene!! e negli apparati, ci rende molto difficile la ricezione dei segnali tipici dx, ma questo non ci scoraggia, anzi siamo ritornati più volte lì sopra (1330m) sempre più malintenzionati!!!

Siamo partiti da due operatori, il sottoscritto e Ferruccio IW8ZFU ora IZ8FGH di Lavello, poi si è aggiunto al locale dx team anche Salvatore IZ8DWH :-( di Rionero (ex. cittadino di Monte Sant'Angelo), che è sempre tormentato dalla scelte delle "NTENNE" per operare al meglio; nonché partecipano alle operazioni anche mio padre e mio fratello entrambi radioamatori in attesa di licenza ordinaria.

Veniamo ora alla raccolta fotografica (molto povera in questa pagina, ma si veda la pagina web più ricca di foto dell'attivazione in occasione del Contest delle Sezioni in 432).

Ecco il mezzo mobile di Ferruccio IZ8FGH ( a sinistra), dove operiamo con l'ICOM IC 706 MKIIG in 50 Mhz con la Quad 2 elementi autocostruita che spara molto bene la RF!! Io sono raffigurato al centro, e a destra c'è mio fratello Vincenzo. Tutti poco radio e molto AMATORIALI!! :-)

Ecco l'antenna QUAD 2 el, smontabile al 100%, leggerissima, ed ottima nel suo rendimento che ci ha permesso di effettuare molti qso italiani in 6m a causa dell'assenza di propagazione!!

Poi per testare il nuovo apparato abbiamo montato una vetricale 144/430 e siamo riusciti a collegare con la minima potenza alcuni colleghi della zona 7 e 6 in 2m e in 70 cm in SSB, provando il DSP e le varie opzioni sconosciute del nuovo acquisto; infine in HF con un accordatore MFJ mod 949 E, siamo riusciti ad accordare l'antenna e con soli 10 W in antenna a collegare in 10m un GB (inglese) con molta soddisfazione da parte nostra.

Naturalmente abbiamo steso dei dipoli only HOME MADE in HF per fare qualche qso Europeo.

Dopo questa esperienza abbiamo deciso di formare un DX GROUP locale, poichè la nostra zona è molto richiesta soprattutto in V-UHF, oltre ad incrementare l'attività radiantistica in zona, nonché per effettuare numerose e piacevoli escursioni, divertenti e allo stesso tempo per aiutarci a condividere numerosi momenti "piacevoli" annaffiati da ottimo vino Aglianico d.o.c. e dall'abbondante carne esclusivamente "cotta ai ferri" by Ferruccio.

These are the first times that we discover the Vulture as possible zone to activate for effecting some connections enough good DX.
Good rather than excellent since in the near (to few meters!!) there are all the possible and imaginable repeaters, beginning from the soldiers (regiment transmissions), to the telephony, to the public radios, private, from the national television to that local, Ministerial, etc understood the R1. ,
With this whole RF that circulates us in the veins!! and in the apparatuses, makes us very difficult the receipt of the typical signals dx, but this doesn't discourage us, rather more times is returned there above (1330m) more and more malicious!!!
We have departed from two operators, the undersigned and Ferruccio IW8ZFU now IZ8FGH of Sink, then he is also added to the local dx team Savior IZ8DWH : - ( of Rionero (ex. city of Monte Sant'Angelo), that is tormented always by the choices of the "NTENNE" to operate to the best; as well as they also participate in the operations my father and my brother both radioamatoris waiting for ordinary license.

Then to make a will the new apparatus we have climbed on a vertical 144/430 and we have succeeded in connecting with the least power some colleagues of the zone 7 and 6 in 2m and in 70 cms in SSB trying the DSP and the various options ignored of the new purchase,; finally in HF with a tuner MFJ mod 949 And, we have succeeded in granting the spar and with alone 10 Ws in spar to connect in 10m a GB (English) with a lot of satisfaction on our behalf.
